Water Paint

I let Casin paint with some water, and do stickers, he thought it was great!
 Waiting for some fun
Stickers
Painting with some food colored water, such an easy thing and he had fun for hours!

His little stinker face!

Meeting a new friend

There is a couple in our ward that invited us over on Friday night to come hang out. They have a little girl that is Casins age, they had fun in this little bouncy house! It was also fun to meet some new people!!

Corn on the Cob

I have never given Casin corn on the cob, but he loves loves corn! So we had some BLT's and Corn on the Cob for dinner and he was so cute chompin away at the cob!

4th of July

We were invited by some people in our ward to go over to their house for the 4th. We were so excited to finally start meeting people. We met some really fun people and had a really good time!

They had swimming for the kids, which I was unprepared for, I let him play in the water anyway. He had so much fun, and a lot of the kids just loved him!
The seal he was playing with broke so he got a hold of the hose instead and started playing with it!

The firework show was next. The fireworks that they are allowed to do would for sure set Utah on fire! They had tons of different kinds of aerial fireworks! Casin was a little unsure at first, but overall he really liked the fireworks even though they were super loud!

This little girl loved Casin and was taking care of him for us lol

We gave Casin a sparkler and I thought he would be scared of it, but he was more brave with it than I was comfortable with! He kept trying to touch the sparkler and would say hot, yes buddy that is hot!

Devin and Casin watching the show

PLAYTIME

We love to have "explore" time. We have such an awesome yard so we have had fun going out in the yard finding bugs, leaves, and flowers!

I decided to fill up a box with random things that casin could play with that he is not normally allowed to play with. He thought it was great that he could climb into a box and pull things out. He literally played for hours!!

He LOVED finding things to put marbles in!

This was so funny! He pulled out the colander and put it on his head and said hat! I was laughing my head off so he was happy to entertain me and get a laugh out of me!

The search for a creepy cemetery

I have always wanted to find a creepy cemetery. I still want to find more and I am excited that I live in a place where there is a lot of potential to see some creepy stuff!! So we heard about this one and it is where Abraham Lincoln's (he's from Kentucky) grandpa is buried.

We drove down this quiet winding road and finally got to this, it was really only like a 20 minute drive. It is amazing how it seems like you can be in the middle of nowhere everywhere you go because of all the trees.
The crooked graves, how creepy is that?

This one was scary with the gait all bent in. A lot of these graves are so old you can't even see anymore what they say on them!

This is some rubble of an old baptist church that Abraham Lincoln actually attended

...and some more creepy graves

and here lies abe lincolns grandpa! Next to that is Richard Chenoweth, he was a captain in the Revolutionary War!

exploring louisville

Wednesday night we took Mica and Taran out on the town!! We went to go check out downtown Louisville, or Louvul as I hear it pronounced very often...
Mica and Taran checkin' out the Ohio River.
Devin and Casin in front of the Ohio.
The downtown buildings. The PNC building is on the left (which is the building Devin will work in) and the one on the right is the Humana building.

Just a cool fountain that we found downtown.

Devin standing in front of his new place of work, and T being a photobomber in the background
4th Street Live in downtown. We picked up some fried twinkies and ice cream!

Movin' to Kentucky

DAY 1

We took our nephews, Mica and Taran with us to help us move and headed to
Kentucky. We started the trip on a very early Friday morning and headed
 to Denver.
We made a stop in Wyoming to eat some Kneaders sandwiches my mom had
got us all the night before, she is pretty awesome!!

Casin LOVED the juice boxes and the juice box holder
 that "mamaw" got him!

Headed to Denver we made it from my parents house to Denver in 11
hours, it was a long day!! We stayed with our friends, The Pettingills
in Highlands Ranch. It was so nice of them to let our crew crash
 at their house!!

DAY 2

We left Denver and headed to Kansas City Missouri. We got to Liberty in
10 hours from Denver.

Casin was actually really good for being in a car for
4 days!!

We made a pit stop at a McDonalds. I haven't ever taken Casin to a playland
He had tons of fun here!

We went down this narrow road and realized it was the wrong turn
to get to our hotel in Liberty. So it was entertaining and a little nerve
wracking to watch Devin turn around a 24 foot truck on a narrow road!!

We wanted to enjoy some Kansas City BBQ in Kansas City so we went
to the famous Arthur Bryants. Apparently they are a big deal out there.
The Arthur Bryant was in a Casino, of course we had to mess around
and play in the water fountain and look around at the bright lights!!

Mica and Taran are mimicking other people posing for their pictures.....

Letting our dinner digest and hangin' out in the hotel.

For whatever reason Casin loves to try and shut himself in fridges
and closets. So he was thrilled to see a mini fridge just his size to shut
himself in to. He took out the shelves in the fridge and climbed in.
He was entertained for quite a while.

DAY 3

Day 3 we decided to not have a long drive, and to actually go
do things instead of just being in the car for 10 hours. So before
heading out to St. Louis we went to go see Liberty Jail.

We left the big Budget truck in the parking lot of the jail and took our
nephews to the College Basketball Experience. It was actually a lot
more fun than I would have expected it to be!

Casin had so much fun, his eyes got huge at the chance of being able
 to play some basketball!

Casin is pretty much as big as Shaq's shoe!

Mica's layup.

Taran's layup.

Then we took the 5 hour drive onto St. Louis.
The city of St. Louis
We didn't get enough time to go visit the arch, but it was cool to see
it from a distance.

DAY 4

We left St. Louis and headed to our house in Louisville!!!
